The pattern for the Prins Póló Autumn Sweater is now available in a knitting kit. You choose two colors out of five from Ístex Léttlopi and in the size you want (see color combinations in the image to the side). In addition, a pattern for a crown and for a sweater and crown for dolls is included!
The pattern and yarn come in clever packaging that can be transformed into a crown that you can either wear on your head or use as a storage box for yarn. A small poster/postcard is included, perfect for your wall.
This project is a collaboration with Ístex. Katrín Björk Sigríðardóttir, knitting designer, created the pattern, Sæunn Þórðardóttir is the artistic director and chief spinner, and Berglind Häsler is the project manager for Havarí.
The project is created in memory of the musician Prins Póló, who loved Icelandic wool and never went to Tenerife without his wool socks! 20% of the proceeds go to the Svavar Pétur Eysteinsson, Prins Póló Memorial Fund.
