Havarí x Moustache March
This year's Movember socks were designed by Svavar Pétur's widow and owner of Havarí, Berglind Häsler, in collaboration with Björn Þór Björnsson. In recent years, Björn has undertaken the task of maintaining a collection of artistic creations left behind by Svavar Pétur, also known as Prins Póló.

Svavar Pétur passed away from cancer in 2022. Svavar Pétur was best known as the musician Prins Póló. He was a versatile and enterprising musician, artist, designer, food producer, entrepreneur, and farmer.
"If what we had to go through can help people or provide inspiration. If we can contribute something; that is my driving force in this. Svavar's attitude to life was also that we should just try to have as much fun as we possibly can, despite life throwing all sorts of challenges at us," says Berglind.

"Berglind opened Svavar's original design documents for us; it's a true digital treasure," says Björn. "For example, only colors that Svavar himself defined and named are used in this year's sock design."
"It was most natural to base the design on the crown, which was his main and most iconic symbol. We then tried to find the colors that best matched the Movember colors," says Björn. The Movember socks are wild in appearance yet carefully crafted. This is another aspect that corresponds to Svavar's creative work, where honest punk merged with insidious sophistication.
As was often the case with Prins Póló himself, almost unrestrained creativity was at play, and thus it was decided to design extra socks this time. "It was simply impossible to hold back the enthusiasm, and difficult to stop," says Berglind.
It is especially recommended that people pair different Movember socks and proudly wear mismatched socks in memory of the good fellow, Svavar Pétur Eysteinsson, Prins Póló.
